Aesop Rock

Legendary Hip Hop guy from New York. Amazing, intelligent rhymes that show an insight that few can do and backed up with thumbing beats and great samples then it's no wonder why he is on top of his game. With previous Ep's and album like Labour Days, None Shall pass each tagged with their own individual sounds that are ever evolving then you just have to check it out.

Bazooka Teeth EP

Heiruspecs

Here's some more great Hip Hop. A live band that throws down some dope funk/soul jams with some great rhymes thrown over the top. It really is a good slice into the lives of these guys with heart felt lyrics at points and a good sum up of their scene out there. Can't rate this album highly enough.

Heiruspecs - Small Steps

Duke23

I got a CD in the post from this guy the other week and put it straight onto my MP3 player and as i watched the snow fall i listened in amazement to the sublime, ambient hip hop that came out of my headphones. The tracks roll along at a more relaxed pace, with clear and precise rhymes over the top. It transports you to another place where time stands still as the music breathes over and over you. This is really a powerful and brilliant piece of Hip Hop and would urge you all to grab a download and watch the snow fall.

Twilight Of The Idols

Now i am really happy the guys at Twilight of The Idols allowed me to upload their album as it has been my album of the year, and is always on my Mp3 player. Hailing from the sunny shores of California these guys really push the limits of hip hop with excellent rhymes and really great tunes in the background that convey a truly brilliant sound. Every track is really outstanding and the whole album flows like water over rocks with a more laid back style than some other hip hop bands around but it just means they stand out more. As you can see i really love this album so i hope you all grab a copy and say a huge thanks to the boys at Twilight Of The Idols.

Now if you loved this album as i am sure you will you can still buy a copy (and i hope you do) here at New Coccon.

There is also other stuff to get from New Cocoon and is the place to go and check out new and exciting hip hop people such as Staplemouth, Noah23, LXOR and many more. So drop on buy and check it out.

Staplemouth

Can't say enough good things about Staplemouth. Awe inspiring Hip Hop from the US and features all kinds of other great hip hop fellows such as Wormhole and Noah23. The speed of the raps is enough to drop your mouth but also the great beats and tunes behind it all really make for an over all individual sound. I was lucky enough to get a track onto my ZX Tapes comp a few months ago. So bow your heads and and all praise Staplemouth.
