Awesome Mexican Screamo with a pretty cool name! They have some really good tunes packed full of energy and mayhem. All the tracks are well put together and add something a bit different from the US, Euro screamo stuff that is around at the moment.

Ahh great little band from Providence, US. Playing some sweet little instrumental tracks (with occasional vocals) and only being two of them then even bigger kudos for making the sounds pretty full with some decent guitar and drum parts.

They are embarking on a pretty big US tour soon with other wicked bands like Merchant Ships and Broken Chords Can Sing Alittle, so get out there and check them out in the real world. You can listen/download some of their tracks at their Bandcamp site thing.

So here is a great wee label putting out really good punk/ska/hardcore tunes for all you little kids. It's always great to see small labels helping out and doing their best to put out quality music and N.O.P Records are great at what they do.

They have put out bands such as Shatners Revenge, Dregs of Society, Rat Pigeon and some more. All of their releases have also been put up for free download as well on their myspace page, and really are worth a check out.

They did split up at one time and then came back to put out another record (as far as i am aware, i could be very very wrong), either way this is awesome, fast, brutal and kicks you in the face, steals your wallet and then uses the money to buy your girlfriend a bunch of roses on Valentines day.....

So here is Claire Danes (if you are not already a fan that is), a great punk/pop/emo kinda band from Rochester, New York. The songs are just a nice size and play through quite easy with up beat drums and pop like guitar riffs then it all adds up to be rather fucking good!

Here's some more great Hip Hop. A live band that throws down some dope funk/soul jams with some great rhymes thrown over the top. It really is a good slice into the lives of these guys with heart felt lyrics at points and a good sum up of their scene out there. Can't rate this album highly enough.

One of the best hardcore/punk/thrash bands to have ever come out of the UK in many many years. They split up many moons ago but they still live on as a high standard for other bands to follow. The songs are fast, intense and pretty creative. Not just the standard boring old formula's which does plague these genres somewhat, they switch up the styles at lightning fast tempo's without compromising the melodies at any point. They were that good!

This has to be a must!!!

Super 90's Emo/Hardcore Post

Now here's a great little treat for all you real emo/hardcore fans out there (myself included). I found this on the Collective Zine forum, it's a huge list of download's that someone kindly put up featuring hundreds of old emo bands from Baby Harp Seal, Across Five Aprils and many many more. I am slowly working my way through the list and there is some real outstanding stuff on here. So get on it.

Nothing quite compares to the raw emotion and energy of what these 3 guys did, with simple song structures and a pounding bass through out each track then they really stood apart from other bands that where flying around at this time. Bored of standard set music that goes through the motions, endlessly repeating the same bland set routines. Well take a look at these guys. Noise filled improvised music that bends through time and space to smack you in the face and show you that not everything is as it seems. The band is compiled from two bands Electric Free Time Machine and Lazer Bones and each are worth a check out on their own.

Influences ranging from Captain Beefheart to Kraut Rock in all many forms and many many more then you should all go and have a look at their track they have put up on their myspace and make an appointment with Dr Robotnik.

Just received a message from these guys asking if i would do a post for their second Demo, odd as i was going to ask them. But anyway Summer Vacation are great, poppy/post punk and would be right at home doing a house show i reckon.
